Hop Seeds

(Humulus lupulus) Common Hops. Hardy herbaceous perennial vine. Grows up to 20ft. Male and female flowers grow on separate plants in summer. Used in brewing in England since the time of Henry the 8th. Sow in autumn in container. Cover with horticultural sand and a course grit. Leave container outside. Germination can be long, taking between four to six months or longer.
