(Cedronella canariensis) Half hardy perennial grows to a height of 3 foot. Flowers pink to pale mauve with black seed heads. The leaves have cerated edges and smell strongly of eucalyptus. Sow in spring in a propagator. Needs a temperature approx. 20 degrees C. Plant out in a warm sunny site. Prefers well drained soil. May need protection in very cold weather.
